After 10 years of studying classical music, I have shifted my focus towards the lesser known percussion instruments, those with the sound and playing techniques not at all available to the public. Here, in Europe, the techniques of the goblet drums, darbukas, etc are usually passed down from one person to another, in most cases making it more difficult to find a way to learn them. During my showcases and demonstrations I usually share many interesting bits and pieces of information on these rare instruments.
